Finally, it is D-Day and we will be flying off to Perth on 1pm flight on Scoots with extended families. Jaydon was having a running nose and we make sure we pack all our medication for him. At 10am the family was too restless and too excited to stay at home to wait for the time to pass, we decided to go early to airport to have breakfast at Macdonald. We met up with the rest of the family and off we were checking-in and going to the gates.
We were thankful that our flight was on time, and we reached Perth at 5.30pm.
Immigration was horrendous; it took us 1.5 hours to clear the custom. With the long queue, we have no choice but to entertain ourselves with Selfie, despite it is a no camera zone. Thank goodness we don’t have any food stuff to declare, if not, we would have stayed longer in the custom.
Since it is already 7pm, we decided to have our dinner at the airport. While the family is having dinner, decided to go over to Vodafone shop to get a sim card ($30 for 1GB data + some phone credit).
Having getting our tummy filled and mobile connected, we boarded 3 taxis for Travelodge for a night over in Perth before heading to Albany the next day. Cost of taxi is around AUD$40.
Upon checking into Travelodge, we went to the nearby IGA Grocery Store to get some breakfast and snack for the road trip to Albany.
Jaydon cough was getting a bit bad that night. We decided to bring him to see a doctor before heading to Albany on the next day.
