Albany / Pemberton (Day 4 – Nov 2014)

We will be heading to Pemberton today, spending a night at Pumphill Farm. It will be 239 Km drives from Albany to Pemberton. Thinking that we should have sufficient time, after checking-out from My Place Accomodation, we spend the morning shopping at the main street of Albany. Before we get on our way to Pemberton, we did some grocery shopping at Woolworth.

Leaving Albany for Denmark:

We make our way to Pemberton in the late morning, making a lunch stop at the town of Denmark. Wanted to have lunch in the park, however, the flies made us think twice on having our lunch in the open.

In the end, we decided to have our lunch in one of the cafe alone the main street of Denmark. Fusion food which my In-laws were totally not into it. However, we did enjoy the meal as it was interesting in favor with asian food heavily “fusionised” with Western style cooking.

After lunch, we were on the road again. It was a touch drive, as most of the passengers in the car were sleeping and the drivers are all alone with the car and the scenery.

Wanted to bring the family to Valley of the Giants so that the children can walk 40 metres high on the tree top walk through the canopy of the tingle forest. Unfortunately, the sky was in our favor and it was raining when we reached there. Therefore, we gave a miss for this and head directly to Pumphill Farm @ Pemberton.

We reached at 4.30pm. The owner of the farm was no way to be found. Found 2 envelope on the reception door addressing to me, which contents all information that is required to find our cottage in the property.

Manage to find the 2 cottages. Both cottages were side by side and both are facing the valley and the farm animals. It is a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean and you have a really nice view from the cottage. The kids could just run out in front of the cottages and feed / play with the animals.

The sheeps, donkey, goats and Alpaca were within reached and the kids were enjoying themselves in the field, while the mothers prepares dinner for the night.
