Kyoto (Day 5 – Nov 2015)

Today we will spend the time venturing Kiyomizudera & surround and ending our walk at Gion district.

We took a cab to Kiyomizudera Temple. It is best to take a cab, as it save us some energy from walking uphill to Kiyomizudera. It was pretty crowded even though we are there at around 10am (We were advised to go early in the day, if possible, as it tends to be less crowded in the morning). The family took a stroll up the path towards them temple.map

It is a pleasant place to walk, however, as crowd builds up, we were happy to make our way down from the temple.

After lunch we proceed walking down to Maruyama Park. As we walk further away from Kiyomizudera temple, the crowd get lesser and lesser. it was more pleasant as we head down the hill.

While waiting for our dinner served in our room… it is playtime for Jaydon with his tired parents.

Dinner was served at 6.30pm and we were so glad that we can rest our tired feet while having our dinner in our room.
