In Yokohama, we met up with our neighbors. Together with our neighbors from The Tampines Trilliant, we took a 4 hours speed train from Yokohama to Osaka. With all the devices and media that we brought along, 4 hours journey was a bliss.
We reached Osaka Station before noon. The hotel we booked was near Osaka station. Osaka Dai-ichi Hotel was 5 mins walk from Osaka and it is connected through underground walkway. Hotel was basic business hotel, however, it is convenient for its price.

Staying around Osaka Station means that we are within reach to various department stores around the vicinity. That’s means that it is a shopping paradise for the ladies. Pokémon Center Osaka was a hit with the kids and Jaydon bought a Venusaur & Lucario figurine.

Evening we head to Dotonbori, which was a couple of stations away from our accommodation.
Dotonbori is always a fun place to hang out. The night is filled with energy and fun in Dotonbori. With all energy, we get hungry easily. We had Ichiran Ramen for dinner and we are eating Takoyaki the next thing we are out of the restaurant.
We spend hours in Don-don-donki. It is different being in Osaka Don-don-donki then the one in Singapore. We are unable to resist Onitsuka Tiger and at the end we land up buying a couple of shoes.
With so little time we had, we have to leave Dotonbori and get our required rest for Universal Studio in the next day.

We took a train to Universal Studio. We reached there early and had to wait in the queue to open. Kids was happy as they have some time on their screen, while mothers went off to get breakfast for the family, while waiting in the queue.
We breakout as a group and went on separate way to the different rides.
The highlight of our trip is the Harry Potter theme park, especially when Jaydon has recently completed the full series of the Harry Potter book.
Harry Potter theme park at night is pretty magical. It feels very much that everything is real and we were at the movie. The only drawback is the crowd. Everywhere we go, the place is full of people. Which is the main reason why we didn’t enjoy as much as we hope in Universal Studio.
We the end the day tired and we were on our way back to our hotel.
