Today we visited the Spanish Riding School of Vienna to observe the morning exercise. Here we observe the training of the Lipizzaners and their riders. Not much of an excitement during the training session. What you will observe is the discipline of both horses and their riders.
Next, we took the Vienna Sightseeing bus to Schönbrunn Palace.
Schönbrunn Palace was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers. The Baroque palace is filled with rooms, one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historical monuments in the country. Since the mid-1950s it has been a major tourist attraction.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to to take any pictures in the palace. You can take a glimpse of the interior rooms through their official website.
Back of the Palace is a huge garden, consist of maze, playground and a zoo.
Schönbrunn Zoo is the oldest zoo in the world, and has now been named Europe’s best zoo five times in a row. The zoo is huge. I am amaze that I have a chance to see a bison in the zoo.
Within the zoo, there is a neat playground for the kids. Jaydon had fun with mom. I think we spent nearly an hour in the playground.
Jaydon love playing with the local kids.
Night fall, and head back to City of Vienna. While the aunties went back to rest, both me and wifey head towards the Christmas Market @ Rathausplatz
Night in Vienna is beautiful. You definitely don’t want to waste the night away in your hotel room.
